For many of us the cooler weather that signals the end of summer is a welcome harbinger of things to come. The time for warm comfort food, oversized sweaters, and fuzzy boots is right around the corner. There is never a better time to visit a farmers market or food stall then when the food is being harvested the same day you make your purchase.
London has some amazing offerings when it comes to Farmers Markets:
City & Country Farmer’s Markets (Held in Lyric Square)
This market is held every Thursday. There is organic bread and meat along with vegetables and other offerings. You can also sample prepared dishes from a variety of different cultures and traditions.
Marylebone Farmer’s Market (Cramer Street Car Park)
This market is held every Sunday from 10am -2pm. There is a variety of offering at this market as well. Come to purchase everything from beef to veggies, and much more. It is all available to the public at this market.
South Kensington Food Market (Held in Princes Garden off Exhibition Road for the month of Oct.) Held every Tuesday 9am-2pm. This is a beautiful location to enjoy artisan breads, cheeses, veggies, and to enjoy your time in London in the fall.
