The London Connection highly recommends the location of this flat; it is walking distance to Trafalgar Square, The National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery, Leicester Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Chinatown, Covent Garden Square, the Royal Opera House. The accommodation is a fifteen-minute walk to Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street–it is perfect!

The flat benefits from CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING which adds to a visitor’s stay in London. The property has a lovely LOUNGE with nice furniture including a large sofa and a DINING TABLE for four persons.  The MASTER BEDROOM has a UK Super King size bed, good storage, and benefits from an EN SUITE BATHROOM with tub/shower over, wash hand basin and loo–very nice quality with heated bidet/loo. We loved the flat! We have come to London in each of the past 3 years. Each time, we’ve stayed in one of your properties in / around Covent Garden. This was by far our favorite.

The one (very) minor criticism I have of the apartment is that the shower in the hall bathroom did not have a handheld shower head.

We took a holiday in Greece this summer and stayed in an Air B&B that was robbed during our stay. It shook us a bit and we considered whether we would feel more secure in a hotel. We were very comfortable and felt safe in the apartment.

Also, the trash room in the building practically sparkled it was so clean!!

I had one maintenance related question while we where there and you answered my email in less than 10 minutes.

I give you the highest possible marks for the property and customer service. We look forward to staying in one of your properties again when we are in London next year.

We loved our time in London, the flat was excellent – super location, very comfortable. Would love to return and would recommend to everybody.

This was my 2nd stay at the 2-09 Upper St. Martin’s Lane flat, the 1st time was with 2 teenagers aged 13 & 19 and this time with a 15 year old, and my 76 year old father with mobility issues – he had a knee replacement earlier in the year.

Needless to say, this was going to be a very different trip. We had two able-bodied persons and one with mobility issues.

So when looking for a flat, the major consideration were the needs of my father and his Mobility issues. However, without hesitation, I knew the perfect flat would be the 2-09 Upper St. Martin’s Lane flat.

Why the 2-09 Upper St. Martin’s Lane flat?

      1. There is a lift directly to the flat.
      2. The shower stall in the main bathroom is easily accessible – he had no problem getting in and out.
      3. There was plenty of room for my father to use his walker when needed – no narrow corridors or clutter to bump into.
      4. The central location afforded my father to walk without his walker to several restaurants and pubs using a cane.
      5. In case of emergency, the stairs to the ground floor were not too much to navigate.

Although I highly recommend the 2-09 Upper St. Martin’s Lane flat to anyone – it’s a beautiful centrally located flat that is close to theatres, restaurants and public transportation – I also recommend the flat to those with mobility issues similar to my father’s.

Please don’t let your mobility issues keep you from traveling! Yes, it was different from my usual way of traveling, but I adjusted – we used the Gett app for black cabs (at fixed prices) instead of using the tube and buses – and we booked some private tours.

I also got free admission to the Tower of London because I was designated my father’s carer! Another highlight was riding through Heathrow Airport in an electric buggy!

In addition, a giant thank you to David, Joe and Ricardo for making the airport pick up, drop off and let in process be smooth and stress-free!

Lastly, I want to thank London Connection for (possibly unknowingly) offering a property that is accessible to those with mobility issues. Otherwise I would have had to have stayed in a hotel – and what a horrible thought that is!

The flat was great, best location for us for sure and we are already looking at this again for future vacations.
London Connection was 100% with what you said and did, pick-up and drop off was a great added service, we had no disappointments.

As to the flat: we found it very comfortable, spacious, well-appointed, and clean. It was amazingly quiet for a flat in such a busy spot. It’s also nicely decorated in a style we found relaxing. We loved the Seven Dials neighborhood and grabbed most of our meals at local restaurants so we alas did not get a chance to use the lovely kitchen. We also found the flat to be walking distance from many of the things we wanted to do and within easy walking distance from the tube stations we needed for other outings. As always, Cristina, Ricardo and the David Norman Company staff are on time, knowledgeable and so pleasant to work with. It’s such a relief of any stress to be able to get off the plane and know that we’ll be taken care of.

This is very pedestrian of us but one thing we love about the LC flats is having a washer/dryer and it was very helpful particularly this time when we had been out at the stadium multiple days with very changeable temps and weather conditions.

The location of the flat was very good for the things we had planned. Getting to the London Stadium for the World Track and Field competition from the flat was a quick walk up to Tottenham Court Road tube stop and then direct transit to the Stratford stop, which is the one closest the stadium. We used Charing Cross, Bankside and Leicester stations for other outings and one day walked to Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Gallery show, going via Trafalgar Square and the Mall.

In short the flat more than met our needs for this trip and we will plan to book with London Connections again.

We had a great time. The flat was fabulous. It’s so nice and bright and well furnished and the location couldn’t be better. Really close to all the shopping, eating, shows, etc. but on a quieter street so it wasn’t too loud.

    8. Sheila

One of the strengths of your company is the time and personal touch you take with your clients. It culminates in Ricardo’s welcome and introduction to London and the flat. I think it creates great customer loyalty.

Upper Saint Martin’s Lane is a gem. It is beautifully appointed and has everything you need to make it a home during a stay. It is by far one of the best locations in which we we have stayed. Attractions, shops, museums, theatres, transport and restaurants are right outside the door. We enjoyed Hawksmoor for a splurge and Bill’s and Rossopomodoro for everyday dining.

We have been to London many times before and it was nice to revisit favorite locations and wander further afield. We went to the theatre, to the Hockney exhibit and the Royal Academy, as well as Osterley Park and Eltham Palace.
On Sunday afternoon it was great being able to walk out our door to watch the marathon from Waterloo Bridge.

The only negative was having to leave. I did think of changing the locks and taking up residence but knew eventually Ricardo would come along to get me out, with a very charming manner, I am sure.

We have and will continue to recommend London Connections to friends and are looking forward to another stay in one of your beautiful accommodations. Thanks for all you did to make our visit so successful.

    9. Chris

Your place was outstanding. Beautiful apartment, great location and spotless. Our whole family really enjoyed our stay.

      Thank you

We had a great holiday exploring London. The apartment was fabulous with everything we could need to make our stay comfortable. The Wifi enabled TV was a hit with the kids when they were exhausted from the days activities. The apartment is so central – just a few minutes walk to the museum, galleries, theatres and a host of other things, and just around the corner from the underground for traveling further afield. The restaurants across the road were great and we were surprised that the apartment was so quiet inside when there is so much activity just downstairs. We will definitely stay there again.

We loved the flat on Upper St. Martin’s Lane!

It was so spacious, light and bright. What we especially liked about the whole property was the lack of too many ‘knick knacks.’ Yet the furnishings were comfortable and met every need. Loved having an almost (by American standards) full size refrigerator and a freezer. There was room in the master bedroom for us to unpack and put suitcases away in the spacious closet. Bathroom also spacious. We had read other comments that it was a quiet apartment and we were not disappointed. In spite of being right in a very popular area of London, and so convenient to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, and tube station, it really was very quiet with the double paned windows. We want to come back.

      Thanks so much.

    12. Jill

We enjoyed our stay at Upper St Martin’s Lane VERY much. The flat is perfectly located to walk to all of the major London sites in the central city, with easy access to multiple tube lines for more exploring. We had 4 adults in the flat and the space worked out well for all of us. The air con was very important during our stay as we had unseasonably hot weather outside, but were cool and comfortable inside. The washer/dryer (tho’ small) was a nice plus, since we were able to travel with minimal luggage.

London Connection was great throughout the process. They worked with us on any minor problems (such as internet access) and were very accommodating in helping us sort out departure times and airport access.

I would say that we never quite figured out how to use the microwave – so a little more instructions on that might be useful for your next visitors.

We hope to return to London again in the next few years and will definitely look to London Connection when we decide to make the trip.
      Thanks!

    13. Patty

We loved the flat! The location was perfect – we were apprehensive about staying in Covent Garden, but it could not have worked out better. We had theatre tickets for two nights and both we were a pleasant stroll from Upper St. Martin’s Lane. Lots of really good restaurants in the area and most everything we wanted to do or see was within walking distance.

The flat was beautiful – it was apparent that the owners took great care to be sure that their guests would be comfortable. An added bonus was that you didn’t hear any street noise – the windows must be double glazed.

We would most definitely stay here on our next trip to London. It was our first time with London Connections and we were not disappointed! We also enjoyed our drivers – both to and from the airport.

    14. Julie

It was fantastic ! The location was great; near lots of theaters and restaurants. Very close to the subway station. A very quiet unit. All of the furnishings and appliances looked brand new. We felt like we were living in luxury ! We will be using one of your properties again, whenever we return to London.

    15. David Wood

We have just had the pleasure of staying in this apartment and have to say is by far the best we have ever stayed in London. The apartment is bright and airy and for its location it is very quiet. The finish is excellent with every amenity you could ever need. Special thanks to Christina who was so patient as we were held up in traffic and yet still spent the time to show us around the apartment. Without doubt we will be booking again and highly recommend to anyone thinking of a luxury stay in London.

    16. Kathy

We had a fabulous time at the flat. The location was perfect. Despite being so close to so much action, the flat was very quiet. It was extremely clean and very light. Absolutely perfect!

We had a great time at Wimbledon, Harry Potter, the War Rooms, Camden Market, The London Eye and the Tower of London. We even made it to a music festival featuring one of our daughters favorite – Kendrick Lamarr. And, of course, high tea!

      Thank you for everything!

    17. Joanne

We loved the flat! Great location, easy transportation, easy to work with and amenities were certainly adequate. I would encourage people to stay here. We had a wonderful time. We did a private tour of London and saw things off the beaten path, we shopped, took an all day tour to Stratford, Cotswolds, Warrick Castle and Oxford. We also saw Wicked.
thank you for all your help.

    18. Suzanne Smith

I highly recommend this Upper Saint Martin’s flat. It is absolutely fantastic! Our family loved our stay. The flat is in a fabulous and fun location, close to so many attractions. While is a busy area of the city, noise was never an issue. It was extremely quiet. It also feels completely safe. Our 19 year old daughter very comfortably went out for a jog in the area each morning. The flat itself is immaculate. We loved how new and fresh it felt. It is also very spacious and air conditioned. We also loved having WiFi! Working with London Connection was a dream. They had outstanding follow-up prior to our trip. Cristina is wonderful and met us at the flat to give us a short tour and instructions. She is so pleasant and was very flexible with us as we had to delay the meeting time a bit. If light bothers anyone as a sleeper, it may be important to note that the master bedroom is very light in the morning. It was not a problem for me as I had a sleep mask. Again, it is part of the wonderful light and airy nature of the flat. I would definitely stay here again while in London. Last, but not least, it is a bargain as compared to paying for 2 hotel rooms for a family in London!

    19. Carey

I would like to just say that we had the best time at the Covent Garden Apartment- from the location to the amenities – there was absolutely everything we could have wished for- I will definitely be using London Connections again if I return & will highly recommend you to our friends.

    20. Jennifer

We had an amazing trip and the apartment was fantastic! We loved the neighborhood, tons of restaurants and stores, close to transportation, high energy. It was wonderful to go back to the apartment after a long day out and have room to relax. Having Wi-Fi was an added bonus! I would highly recommend London Connection, I wish you had apartments in other cities!

    21. Pat

The apartment was well located both for me as a businessman but also for tourists. Great restaurants, pubs and easy walking to all of the main sights + a multitude of theatres + of course the underground was just around the corner.

The size of the apartment was excellent as was the size of the master bedroom and its en-suite.

      Well decorated and equipped.

      Spotless and clean.

    22. Margaret

We stayed for 1 week the week before Christmas and what a wonderful week it was.

The location at Upper St Martins lane in covent gardens was absolutely perfect. Our daughter graduated form LSE and we were able to walk to her ceremony very easily. But beyond that. The tube was nearby, the grocery was perfectly close and the sights red bus tours etc were walking distance from our flat. We were on the 3rd floor and on the street below was a wonderful coffee shop that was excellent. Their was shopping, pubs and theatre all near us. We could not have been happier. The flat accommodations were very modern, comfortable and met our needs perfectly. We loved it. We had the most fabulous week ever and thanks to London Connection we could not have had a better week.

    23. Kylie Hunt

Every last detail about this apartment is absolutely perfect. It is exactly as you see it in the photos, with every amenity we could have wish for. We spent 7 days here with our two children and it was beautifully spacious and comfortable for us all. The beds are great and there’s so much wardrobe room. The two bathrooms were a big plus. You will LOVE it, and the location is obviously fantastic too. I would highly recommend using the driver service as well, which was also excellent. 5 big stars. We will definitely stay here again. Many thanks.

    24. mrbaldyman

This apartment is not merely in the theatre district: the view from the second bedroom window is of the dressing rooms of the St. Martins Theatre where Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap has been running for over 60 years! We had a lot of fun trying to get the actors to reveal whodunnit. Honestly, all the reviews of this place are spot on. It couldn’t be better.

    25. Sandy Souza

On a recent family trip to London, we spent eight nights in this apartment. It could not have been a more perfect choice. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable throughout, and spacious for three adults. The location was within walking distance of many sites and central to bus and tube for the farther afield. Although it was right in the middle of very busy theater, restaurants, pubs and small shops, it was very quiet. The central AC came in handy on the hot summer days giving us an oasis to return to after a busy and tiring day. London Connection was great to work with – very attentive to details and helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend both them and this apartment. Both made our trip to London the perfect family vacation.

    26. Brad

My wife, teenage son and I spent 9 days at this flat and loved it. The drivers and company representatives were all kind and helpful. The flat is lovely, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a bright, spacious living room and kitchen area. Large windows make the flat nice and bright and give a nice view of the street below. The location is amazing. Nice and peaceful with a great coffee shop below and wonderful restaurants only steps from the door. Covent Garden is a vibrant area with tons of great shops, restaurants and theatre. Many of London’s great sights are only a short walk away and a tube station is just a three minute walk. We loved our stay!

    27. Clay

This flat and its location were absolutely perfect for our family of four. There are tons of great shops, pubs, restaurants and theaters in walking distance. You are also very close (2 minute walk) to the tube. Try Russo’s across the street for some great authentic Italian food and wine.

    28. Tom and Gina

This apartment was fantastic! Great location by restaurants, shops, and museums, everything in walking distance. I would highly recommend it. The area is a busy area during the day, yet it was very quiet at night. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. If you are looking for a great restaurant, Hawksmoor Seven Dials is just down the street and has excellent steaks (although it is pricey). If we ever get back to London, we would stay here again!

    29. Jennifer and Trevor Kratz

Beautiful apartment with a fantastic location! We spent 12 days in London with our two kids and this was our home away from home. Close to tube stations, theatre, great restaurants and shopping. You could walk to Buckingham Palace and many other sights. We would highly recommend this flat for a visit to London!
