The flat was perfect for us!
The location, layout, and conveniences offered in the flat were really terrific- vastly better than a hotel.I would (and have) recommended London Connection and specifically Egerton Gardens as a perfect location.

    2. BethAnne

It was a fabulous apartment for our needs and an easy location! Easy walking to so many great places, and super easy tube stops! we mostly used the Kensington line… we will be back!

    3. David

It was an awesome flat in a great location! Easy walk to great restaurants and shops.

We had a great time in London. Our driver Joe was fantastic, provided a lot of great tips and ideas of what to do during our stay. He made the long drive from Gatwick most enjoyable. Ricardo was waiting for us at the flat when we arrived. He did a fantastic job orienting us with the flat. He was even kind enough to arrange for us to check out a little bit later which really helped us make the most of our last day there.

The location of the flat was perfect for us. We had just had an unfortunate experience during our stay in Italy and so feeling safe became my number one priority. The location and neighborhood put my mind at ease and we felt very comfortable.

The only other feedback I have is related to the bedding. I believe the listing indicates that the bed in the master is a king bed. Perhaps it is by U.K. standards but by US standards the bed is a queen. Just worth noting on your site if someone is expecting a king sized bed.

Thanks again and we look forward to visiting London again soon!

We loved the flat. We really liked the brightness of the flat since it’s a bottom apartment but it just didn’t feel that way. It was very well equipped with everything that we needed.

The location was perfect for walking and for taking the Tube. I would definitely recommend this flat for anyone wanting to stay in a great part of London. I hope to be back again.

We had a great time and we’re very happy with Egerton Gardens. We also stayed there once before a few years ago, but that was before the renovations. We were very happy with the renovations too. Our 10 year old now thinks of it as “our” apartment in London (having stayed there twice, both times he has been to London)! Thanks again for everything.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip to London.
Egerton Gardens was terrific for us. Well-located between 2 Tube stops, we found it easy to navigate to it, and it was nicely quiet considering it’s prominent location. We also really appreciate your team. David, the driver, was excellent, on time, and even gave us some great advice about shopping and restaurants. Our greeter was great, and we were grateful that you immediately replaced the broken coffee maker, even on Christmas Eve!

Everything about the flat was perfect for us – plenty of room, good amenities. We liked having a kitchen where we could cook on Christmas Day and not have to worry about finding an open restaurant. Nearby markets and bakeries were perfect for stocking up for breakfasts.

We would highly recommend your agency to others and have already done so. Thank you for making our vacation memorable and special. We loved it.

We loved the convenient location as well as the beautiful flat. It was close to fun restaurants and the South Kensington tube stop, which was great. And, we had a great time touring around London! We would definitely stay there again. 🙂

We loved the apartment in Knightsbridge. It is so well equipped for a group of 4, and the location was perfect for us.

I’m guessing the owners are Americans—at least that’s the impression I got. It’s almost hard to put my finger on it, but there were so many conveniences I look for in an apartment that I don’t often find in apartments abroad. The only thing I would suggest is that the cushions in the living room sofa/love seat are due for a re-stuffing as they have become a little flat. Given the price of the flat, this was taken in stride, but before you increase the price, this should probably be addressed.

This was my third London Connection experience, and this was my favorite apartment to date. We used David for airport transfers and he was great as always. Thanks for another great time in London.

    10. Tina

The flat was perfect for us! Just as pictured on your site. The driver we booked with you was at the airport waiting for us, even though our flight was slightly delayed & the customs line was very long. The greeter at the flat was also waiting for us & gave us all the information we needed about the flat & the neighborhood. We ate in a few times & the flat had everything we needed to cook with. I loved the garden & had a chance to just sit out there and read one afternoon. The South Kensington Tube Station was a nice walk from the flat & we were able to take the Tube everywhere we wanted to go. We visited the Tower of London, British Museum, Churchill War Rooms, Chelsea Stadium Tour, Victoria & Albert Museum (this was a short walk from the flat). When our daughter arrived a few days after we did (& on our last day in London) we went on a full day walking tour with City Wonders to hit all the sights with her. We had a great guide in Josh who led the tour with a sense of humor. He covered all the main sights & we ended the afternoon with a delicious tea at a beautiful hotel (included in tour). One of the best things we did was a book the “East End Food Tour” with Eating London. The guide was great, the East End was a very interesting neighborhood that we might not have otherwise visited & the food was wonderful! We left the tour stuffed! I still have so much more I want to see in London, so we hope to come back again! Thanks for everything!

The flat itself was everything we were looking for and really lived up to what we were expecting based on the pictures from the website. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and having the two separate bathrooms made getting ready so much easier for our group of four. The living area, kitchen, and washer/dryer are what really put our experience over the top. Being able to have a quick breakfast at the flat each morning, having a place to store leftovers from dinner, being able to do laundry halfway through our trip and having a place to hang out together after a long day seeing the sights was all game-changing and made the flat an incredible value over a hotel stay.

Our check-in experience couldn’t have gone better. Your recommendation for travel time on the tube was spot on and we met Cristina at the flat right at our scheduled time. She did a great job of showing us around the apartment and how to use all of the appliances, and she could not have been more friendly or responsive throughout our check-in day.

The location of the flat was also perfect for us. We didn’t want to stay in a super touristy area and after walking around for a few minutes, it was obvious that we were in a safe, relatively quiet residential area with a lot of stuff to do only a few blocks away. Being smack in the middle of two different tube stops with multiple lines was so convenient and made it so easy to explore all parts of London. It was also very nice to have a few good grocery stores nearby.

There were two things about the flat that could have been improved, but they were relatively minor and didn’t really have a negative impact on our stay. The glass panel mounted on the side of the tub in the hallway bathroom was a little loose and there wasn’t really anything substantial to hold on to when climbing out of the slippery shower. Just wanted to bring those things up in case other travelers hadn’t.

Thank you again for all of your help over the past several months. We had such a great experience and would definitely recommend London Connection to our friends and family traveling to London!

We love the Knightsbridge neighborhood and this flat was perfect. It was very roomy, no street noise and just around the corner from Valeries Patisserie for breakfast. They make a great Croque Madame. Having a standup shower was also a plus for us. Easy walk to the South Kensington and Knightsbridge underground stations. Victoria and Albert, Natural History Museum and the Science Museum were just across the street. There is a lovely French wine and cheese shop near the corner of Brompton and Montpelier Street.
Good grocery selection at Marks and Spencer on Brompton Road. Do not miss the food courts at Harrods!
Lovely local neighborhood restaurants you can walk to with a wide variety of cuisines. Some examples were: Daquise (Polish-the salmon tartare was the best I have ever had), Maroush (Lebanese), The Good Earth (Chinese–awesome. first time having lamb in a chinese restaurant), Patera (Thai–try the Green Curry Chicken). Zia Theresa (Italian-right outside Harrods) and Bibendum (French-one of my favorites for lunch in London). We have travelled further afield on previous trips to sample Zagat recommended restaurants but this time wanted to sample neighborhood locations and all of them were excellent.
We have used London Connection 3 times and plan to do so again. This flat on Edgerton Gardens was our favorite of the three flats we stayed in. We have recommended London Connection to several friends and their experiences have mirrored ours.
Highlights of the trip were a day trip to Hampton Court by train and sunset over London from the London Eye. Would also recommend a trip to Greenwich and the Maritime Museum.
      Cannot wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time in London.

I really enjoyed our stay in the flat. I was pleasantly surprised to see how spacious it was, and I loved the neighborhood it was in. It was a great size for the 4 of us – and there was lots of room so we were never tripping over each other. The large layout also made it possible for some people to wake up earlier without disturbing any others that might still be sleeping. It had all the amenities that a person would need, and it was extremely convenient to shops, restaurants and transit. We made use of the hop-on, hop-off bus for the first couple of days, and then used the tube to get around after that. We found a good selection of reasonably-priced restaurants near the South Kensington station. We also took advantage of the nearby Marks & Spencer and Sainsbury stores for snacks and meals in the flat. Having the museums close by was great, and my husband took advantage of nearby Hyde Park to go for a run.

One of the highlights of our trip was our tour to Stonehenge. We found a company that does ‘private access’ tours where you get to go inside the stone circle – http://stonehengetours.com/extended-tours.html. I had booked the tour through this website, but the tour itself was run by Evan Evans tours. We did the sunset tour with a stop at Windsor Castle and Oxford beforehand. It was a unique experience to be able to walk right amongst the stones with a small group. I definitely recommend it. However, the tours do book up – so a person might have to book quite far ahead of time. I booked our spots 8 months before the Aug 31st tour, and they were already starting to book up for that timeframe.

Another highlight was the exclusive guided tour of Buckingham Palace. This is a late afternoon tour through the palace with a small group. It was a very informative and interesting tour, and at the end, we enjoyed a glass of champagne overlooking the garden.

Of course, a week is not enough time to see everything in London, so I will have to come back again someday to see some more sights.

The flat was better than I expected, and would recommend it to anyone going to London.

    14. Sandra

The flat was lovely. I can’t think of a more perfect location – so close to the tube and to restaurants and shopping (can you say ‘Harrods?’). And it was nice and quiet which is a joy when you stay in a big city. I love that the bedrooms backed on to the garden and that they were down the hall from the living room. Felt like we all had good privacy from each other.

We had a great time in London. Love the British wit. The Borough Market is not to be missed! Think it’s only open Thursday-Sunday. It has wonderful food – from roasted pork to Thai coconut pancakes.

Thanks for offering such a lovely place to stay. It really made our trip enjoyable.

    15. Barbara

We were absolutely thrilled with our flat. David was a welcome site at Heathrow and got us into town easy peasy. We loved the modern kitchen and full size fridge and the heated towel bars were great each morning with a hot towel at the ready. The convenience of the two Tube stations was fabulous as it made getting around London very easy. We enjoyed the library of additional tour books found in the kitchen cabinet and used the London walking tour cards several times as they were much easier to carry than our cumbersome map.

We will definitely recommend London Connection to anyone we know going to London in the future and should we ever visit in the future we would not hesitate to use you again.

      Top notch all around!
Thanks for a wonderful home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at 5a Egerton Gardens. It was good to just settle in and make it our “home” for the week that we were in London. Everything was in good working order. And the beds were comfortable.
We were able to entertain my Uncle/Aunt as well as my extended family at different times. Good space. The kitchen was well equipped. We found “Paul” and “Waitrose” on Old Brompton Rd to be good resources for breakfast and lunch supplies. And The Bunch of Grapes pub was so close by for a good meal when we first arrived.
There are so many excellent restaurants in the area, it is just fun to walk and choose one according to one’s appetite in the moment.

I loved being the Egerton Gardens. It was so quiet despite being so close to everything. We definitely will be in touch again for another trip. And have already recommended your company to friends. Also: the chauffeur service was excellent. WE loved his friendly manner, and great tourist tips. A wonderful way to arrive after a long red-eye flight.

Our family of four (two adult kids) stayed in this flat in early December and our experience could not have been better. The apartment was exactly as shown and described here, roomy, clean, and pretty. Both bathrooms are huge; both bedrooms are comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it seems to be fully equipped. Internet was strong and fast! The location in Kensington is perfect: quiet side street, just off a main high street, easy access to the tube. The required interaction with the LC office (contract, payment) was easy and straightforward, while all of my follow-up questions were answered promptly and fully. Love that payment is in USD. We will definitely be renting through LC again; I only wish they would set up shop in other European cities.

    18. Chad

Everything was great!!! Price, booking process, location, the staff, and especially the property. My wife, brother, and I stayed at this property while on vacation. Everyone had plenty of space and it was great having a full kitchen. We took advantage of the car service (flat rate) and everyone was very helpful. Wifi and washer/dryer in flat were great to have and proximity to the Tube, restaurants, pubs, and shopping made for a wonderful trip. I have high expectations and I was very satisfied.

Thank you London Connection for accommodating my group of five at this flat. Not only did you squeeze us in, but you also had Justine wait for us to the very end of the let in time as our simple taxi ride from St Pancras station to here got diverted the long way around Hyde Park due to protests and road closures. My husband loved the power shower in the master bedroom. The internet was there for us. Maybe extending the internet to the back bedroom would be a good suggestion. Otherwise the flat was perfect. Comfortable. Spacious. I have wanted I stay in the Knightsbridge side of town. It is all that I had hoped it would be. Convenient access to Harrod’s and plenty of shopping. Tube station with easy access. This is a great place to stay.

    20. Lynda Liebman

What a gem! The location in Kensington could not have been better……close to museums, the tube, Harrods, several places for groceries(we conveniently ate breakfast in), and numerous very good restaurants. Everything was clean orderly, and well equipped, with a washer and dryer that came in very handy. Christina was very efficient in giving an orientation of the apartment and things nearby.
The transportation service to and fro the airport was very efficient and dependable.
I will reiterate the suggestion from another reviewer in suggesting Walks.com (London Walks). The walking tours are excellent, extremely reasonable in price, with a large variety of choices, and no reservation necessary.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting London.

We recently landed back in Canada after a week-long stay at this terrific flat. It was a wonderful location from which to explore the city with our two teenage children, The street is quiet and leafy, but only steps from an exciting assortment of shops, cafés, restaurants, and two tube stations offering service on three lines (Piccadilly, District and Circle). Ideal for getting around fast! The flat offered plenty of space for the four of us. It’s bright and cheerful. Our daughter loved the garden. The kitchen is well equipped for light cooking (we relied mostly on takeaway and the nearby M & S Simply – a great source of prepared foods). We really came to feel right at home here. For groceries, we liked Sainsbury’s on Sloane Avenue (a 5 minute walk). Costa, just around the corner on Brompton Rd.,has fantastic coffee and grilled sandwiches, as does Patisserie Valerie, also on Brompton. The area around the South Kensington tube station is thick with restaurants and cafés. We liked Le Pain Quotidien for lunch or a mid-afternoon meal. Finally, we went on a number of London Walks (www.walks.com), which offers excellent guided walking tours in many areas of the city. The guides (actors, lawyers, historians) are terrific. It’s a great way to see the city.

    22. Euan & Pauline

Brilliant property in a great location. We have stayed in Kensington for each of our trips to london! and this is the best location and a great apartment. Super convenient for galleries, transport and food, and a fantastic apartment for travelling with two young kids. Christina was great at check in, and was rally flexible on meeting us from our early morning flight,

    23. Mike and Jenn

Everything was in order and as described with respect to this Egerton Gardens flat. Having rented several times in London with the last few years I would place this apartment near the top of the list. Location was excellent; close to museums, shops, the tube, yet tucked off the main roadway so traffic and noise were both non-issues. The apartment offered plenty of space. We were met at the apartment upon arrival and felt well looked after in every respect.

    24. The Johnson

Excellent property and location. The flat is well appointed, clean, comfortable, and safe. It is perfectly located in Knightsbridge and it made a great central location for us to walk out the door, hop on the Tube, and see London. Grocery stores, pubs, restaurants are all within a 5 minute walk. We had two adults and two younger kids stay in the flat and everyone thoroughly enjoyed having a place to relax after some long days of running around. Plenty of room, beds are comfortable, and it is nice and quiet at night. The London Connection’s staff was great to work with and we had zero problems with the airport pick-up and check-in. Many thanks on making it a great vacation.

    25. John & Jan

Great place – I’d recommend it to anyone. Location is about equidistant from Knightsbridge & S Kensington tube station. Quiet, typical West End neighborhood. The flat itself was in great shape, bright, cheery, etc. Dryer was a bit slow, but after I cleaned the filter, all was good. TV remote was a bit touchy but ultimately worked. The quaintest, ‘backstreet’ pubs in the Knightsbridge areas are seemingly long gone (turned to flats to accommodate foreign invasion), but the nearby Bunch of Grapes worked out well for pint selection and dinner. We would happily stay there again, and are very appreciative of London Connection’s assistance. Recommend you use their pickup service at the airport, which helps after the long flight.

    26. Vicky

OMG…I can’t thank London Connection enough for making our London trip absolutely perfect!!! Maureen met us at the airport and took us directly to our flat in Egerton Gardens. Cristina was there to meet us and to tell us everything we would need to know about living in London!! The flat was beautiful, very comfortable, well equipped and in a perfect location. We had a fun week sightseeing and highly recommend the Big Blue Bus tour we took on our first day to get a feel for the city!! After a week we moved to your gorgeous Onslow garden flat and Cristina helped make our move effortlessly!!
We found both flats we be very clean with comfortable beds, showers and equipped with everything you could possibly need or want.

My Mother had always dreamed of visiting England and thanks to London Connection she truly had her dream vacation to London come true. Please thank Maureen, Cristina and David again for their help and guidance!!

I highly recommend London Connection and have told all my friends about you!! Hopefully, I can return next year with my husband so he can see England too!! I will definitely be calling London Connection again!!!!!

    27. Marnie

We had a wonderful time at your property. The location was perfect, such a lovely
neighborhood and yet so close to everything we needed. The apartment was everything we hoped for,
nice space, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. At the end of a busy day of sightseeing we all looked forward to coming “home” and relaxing at the apartment.

As for tips, we were traveling with our children so we did most of the normal tourist stops. We especially
enjoyed the Churchill War Rooms and the V and A museum. We also had a wonderful tea experience
at the Continental Hotel near Harrod’s.

We were very happy with our entire experience with London Connections. Everyone from the office staff
to the driver and the let in person were professional and quick to respond to any questions.

      Thank you,

    28. Bruce

The apartment at 2-34 Egerton Gardens SW3 was perfect for our recent stay in London. The location near to a convenient tube station and neighbourhoods where we could easily find places to eat and go out proved to be a pleasure. While being close to a busy traffic artery, Egerton Gardens being set back a couple blocks proved to be a very quiet location.

The apartment itself was a good size for my family, and having a second bathroom was a blessing (I have two teenage daughters). The apartment was well equipped, everything we needed for out stay was there.

    29. Jim

Writing to let you know that our experience at your flat 2-34 Egerton Gardens was excellent. From the booking person (Becky) to the “let-in” person (Ricardo) we found your staff to be courteous, helpful, and friendly. We found the accommodation to be excellent – spotless, spacious, modern, and bright. Couldn’t have been better. The location is superb. Shopping at Harrod’s 3 blocks away, tube stop 2 blocks away, and 2 great museums 1 block away. What could be better. Incidentally, my wife left a treasured scarf behind in the flat. She contacted Becky and the scarf will be mailed back to us. This is great service and we sincerely appreciate it. Of course, we are prepared to pay for associated costs of mail/delivery, or other related costs. My wife and I stayed in a small hotel that was located at #46 Egerton Gardens (the Garden House Hotel) in 1971. Just around the corner from 2-34, so this was kind of nostalgic for us. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity to visit London came up in the future and would certainly recommend your place to others. Thank you for your service.

    30. Angela

Thank you for contacting me for feedback regarding our visit. We had a wonderful time in London staying at 2-34 Egerton Gardens. It was my second time staying there, and now it is like home. The location is perfect pretty, safe, near to many sights that are on the top of the list of a visitor to London; it has plenty of grocery stores nearby (I loved having the Marks & Spencer Simply Food around the corner); Harrod’s down the street, the V&A across the street, and Hyde Park just beyond that… I could go on. The flat was comfortable, and the beds are comfortable, and being able to do laundry and cook our own food is so much nicer than being stuck in a hotel room without access to either. We used the Wi-Fi daily. (I do wish there were better reception in the back bedroom. I had access there, but only if I sat near the doorway.) I will definitely return to this flat in the future, hopefully many times.

      Very best regards,

    31. Pat and Tim

We have just returned from our stay in the United Kingdom and happily had five nights at Egerton Gardens. Cristina, Ricardo, and our driver Maureen could not have been more helpful. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable and it was such a pleasure to return after a busy day of sightseeing and have a glass of wine in the garden. Thanks so much.

    32. Ivor

I travel to London monthly and

have stayed in numerous luxury hotels in the West end — this was every

bit as nice and far more convenient for a family trip. We had lot’s of

space, could buy some food if we wanted. The Knightsbridge location was

superb. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped and the gardens

were lovely. It really was a magic holiday. I am sure we will be

contacting you again for another trip.
